Atlanta
Welcome to the ATL! Our alumni network is a small, but mighty group who enjoy exploring what makes our city special and supporting our vibrant community. We brave Atlanta traffic to volunteer at local organizations, share Andover stories over southern comfort foods, and capitalize on those “not too hot” weather days. Join us for our casual gatherings and networking opportunities. We can’t wait to welcome you to the neighborhood!
Chicago
The Second City is anything but! We protest the Chicago winters with an annual doldrums party at a local brewery, and celebrate summertime Chi with a family-friendly event at Ravinia. We give back to the community through our annual non sibi project with Cradles to Crayons. We look forward to connecting with you - whether you call Chicago home or you’re just visiting!
New York
Welcome to the city that never sleeps! NYC has a large diverse group of alumni who can join you and inspire you in this concrete jungle. To bring Andover to the Big Apple, we have events that bring a sense of community while exploring the city. Whether you are a native New Yorker or brand new to the city, let’s explore the city together. From picnics in Central Park to museum and architecture tours to local brewery gatherings to shows to non sibi community engagement projects, there is an event for everyone here. And if you don’t see your idea yet, let us know and this is a city that can make it happen!
New England
The New England committee hosts events throughout the year across the region. Our range of local alumni include university students, young families, and seasoned professionals - so our events include casual happy hours, family-friendly gatherings, and formal evenings hosted by the Academy. We look forward to welcoming you into the New England alumni fold, and to seeing you at a future events!
Northern California
One of the largest Andover alumni networks, big blue runs deep in the Bay Area. There are many opportunities to come together for connection and engagement. We like to take advantage of all the Bay Area offers with events ranging from Non Sibi projects that restore the local parks to alumni panels with finance and venture capital experts, and gatherings at local restaurants and vineyards for local cuisine and wine-tasting. We can't wait to share in the NorCal Andover experience with you!
Southern California
Spanning from San Diego to Santa Barbara, the Southern California alumni region is vibrant and diverse. We annually organize events tailored to engage our varied local alumni demographic, from university students and young families to established professionals. In the past our events have included informal gatherings, family-centric activities, Non Sibi events, as well as formal events. We invite you to join your local Southern California alumni community and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events. Texas
Calling Andover and Abbot alumni/ae and families in Texas! Contact the Texas Regional Leadership Team to find out about opportunities to connect with our PA/AA communities in Dallas, Houston and Austin. Local events have included Andover-Exeter watch parties, visiting speakers from Andover, social gatherings and non sibi projects. Reach out to Crystal McGuire for more information.
Washington, D.C.
The Washington region has a network of over 1,100 alumni drawn to the city for work in public service, nonprofit organizations, journalism, law, consulting, and increasingly for high tech industries and entrepreneurship. In the spirit of public service, our Regional Leadership Team organizes at least one annual Non Sibi Day project each Spring — recent projects have supported Meals On Wheels and A Wider Circle. We enjoy any reason to come together, whether for a Head of School visit, Blue Runs Deep industry discussion, happy hour, family barbecue, museum night, or to cheer on the Big Blue at an Andover-Exeter viewing party (sometimes we invite Exies—gasp).
