PreACT exam on Saturday, January 18, 2025

01/18/2025 7:45 AM 01/18/2025 12:00 PM America/New_York Andover PreACT exam on Saturday, January 18, 2025

A PreACT exam will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025

This exam is for 10th grade Phillips Academy Students only.

The PreACT is a preview to the ACT.  It tests the same skills and knowledge and can be a predictor of how one would score if they took the ACT.  This test does not count in the admissions process and scores are only sent to students. The PreACT results together with the practice PSAT can be a guide toward the standardized test a student pursues in the college admissions process.

Registration runs 12/4 to noon Wednesday 12/18

Students are emailed a registration link.

The cost is $29 and will be deducted from the Course Materials Account. (This is an internal tuition account, not the Blue Card.)

Registrations can be cancelled until Friday, December 20th at noon. Please contact [email protected] to cancel.  “No-Shows” will be charged if you don’t cancel.

Free and open to the public

CAMD Scholar Jaceil Britton 25’ uncovers a history of government failures to protect communities from harm—revealed by case studies of environmental racism that resulted in the disproportionate exposure of Black and brown families to toxins through contaminated water.

The personal stories emerging from these interrelated case studies speak to how local problems are dealt with at the city, state, and federal levels, illuminating rational reasons for a lack of trust in federal support.
