Bomba: Afro-Puerto Rican Resilience
Students will develop an appreciation of the Bomba style of music and dance, its African roots, and the history of colonialism on the island of Puerto Rico.
Arctic Adventure: Ski Finland
Cross country ski across Finland from near the Russian border to the Swedish border. In Finnish this event is called Rajalta Rajalle hiihto.
Civil Rights: The American Story
Students will immerse themselves in America’s imperfect story and learn how the struggle for social justice is shackled to the American narrative.
Dark Nights, Celestial Lights: Arctic Auroras & Photography
Challenge yourself to brave Arctic winter nights as we chase auroras in hopes of experiencing, understanding, and photographing nature’s most incredible light display.
