Mindfulness and Meditation Series: Alex Santos

"Meditation is not something you do, it’s something you live,” says Santos.
by Jenny Barker

How can meditation and mindfulness help people live a happier, calmer, healthier, and more authentic life? Join the Tang Institute this January as Alexis Santos helps us to explore ways for incorporating mindfulness and meditation into daily life. A former Buddhist monk, Santos is trained in a number of meditative styles and traditions. He teaches at retreat centers throughout the United States, is a featured teacher in the 10% Happier meditation app, and has developed guided mindfulness exercises for Lumosity. He brings a practical, intuitive, and compassionate approach to the development of wisdom.

These events are part of the Tang Institute’s ongoing "Mindfulness and Meditation" series. All are invited to join in:

Friday, January 11: Discussion, 7 p.m., Kemper Auditorium

Saturday, January 12:
Daylong workshop, Davis Hall, begins at 9:30 a.m.

These events are open to the public, but advance registration is required. For more information, please contact [email protected]
