Andover has a strong A-E Weekend showingAfter a glorious fall Saturday filled with intense action and rousing school spirit, Andover and Exeter emerged from the competitions having split the day’s wins. Andover claimed victories in field hockey (6-0) and girls’ soccer (3-0) while Exeter proved tough with victories in football (42-21) and girls’ volleyball (3-0); boys’ soccer tied 1-1. Earlier in the week, JV teams competed at Exeter.

On Saturday afternoon, Clyfe Beckwith P’15, ’17 coached his final girls varsity volleyball game after 27 seasons at the helm. Beckwith will coach his final season as head coach of boys’ varsity volleyball this spring after 26 seasons in the program. Beckwith’s coaching, enthusiasm, and dedication is credited with transforming the volleyball program at Andover across 53 seasons.
