In service to Andover

Distinguished Service Award recipients honored

Six members of the Andover community received the 2024 Distinguished Service Award in September. The recipients were honored at a special luncheon during Volunteer Summit Weekend.

Secretary of the Academy Thom Lockerby welcomed the recipients and provided a summary of their varied and extensive service to the school. The event also included reflections from the honorees and closing comments from Head of School Raynard S. Kington, MD, PhD, P’24, ’27.

Presented annually by decision of the Board of Trustees’ Academy Resources Committee, the Distinguished Service Award recognizes volunteer service to Andover that has been distinguished by commitment, uniqueness, and effectiveness and that provides an inspiring example for all Andover volunteers.
