Allyson Irish

Allyson Irish has more than 15 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional working in academic settings. At Simmons College, she was responsible for the alumni magazine, internal communications, media relations, community outreach, and crisis communications. She started her career as a journalist and worked for several weekly newspapers in Massachusetts as a reporter and editor. She has been a member of the Phillips Academy community since 2015.

Actively involved with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, Allyson has served as a judge or lead judge for several CASE awards programs She has a B.A. in English from Assumption College and an MS in Communications Management from Simmons College.

When not writing, editing, or managing photo shoots, Allyson enjoys time with her two sons, cooking and baking, and soaking up the sun on her back deck.
