“I get to collaborate with incredible community partners to create and operate meaningful community engagement programs.”My experiences as a tutor in high school and college, as well as my years as a public school teacher in New York City and Lynn, MA, have made issues of educational equity and social justice central to my professional life. As Director of the Community Engagement Program, I work with students every day who are figuring out the role community engagement and activism will play throughout the rest of their lives, and I get to collaborate with incredible community partners to create and operate meaningful community engagement programs. I also am a complementary house counselor, a day student advisor, and an admission reader, and I serve on the Equity and Inclusion Advisory Board, and the Student Recognition Committee. I live on campus with my husband, two sons, and pug, and we are grateful to be part of this tight-knit and supportive community.
